We've highlighted the three amazing women we have for the concert, but the daytime schedule is also coming together.

  • 10:00-11:00am - Rehearsal of guitar ensemble participants.
  • 11:00am - Performance by the Guitar Orchestra.
    •  There are about 20 participants who have been working with Gaborguitar Madison WI and will play a couple of pieces highlighting the benefits of group learning. We'll also be presenting a youth concert featuring students of many age groups who have made great strides.
  • 12:00-3:00pm - Vendor's fair.
    •  We are welcoming a few exclusive guitar builders and representatives with instruments to play and inspire.
  • 12:00-3:00pm - Tiny concerts.
    •  Also, during the vendor's fair, we will have a number of smaller performances in the main studio. We'll see performances by current UW students, an appearance by Musicnotes' own "Tiny Guitar Ensemble", and Duo Red and Black.
  • 3:00-5:30pm - Clinic and Masterclass
    • We'll host a lecture/technique clinic and invitational masterclass with renown teacher and mentor Rene Izquierdo from UW Milwaukee. As with any masterclass, even if you don't play, you can benefit from the insights and discipline that drive artistic development and confidence.
  • 5:30-6:30pm - Main hall cleared and concert setup. Visit State Street for a bite.

  • Frances Karim Chiroque
